Batleur Eagle by Martin Aveling (Value £4000)
Martin Aveling is an English artist with an African heart. Born into a family of zoologists in 1982, he grew up amidst forest and savannah creatures of central and eastern Africa. His work has been auctioned in Paris, and featured in charity auctions hosted by Christie’s and Sotheby’s. His clients include a number of fellow wildlife enthusiasts such as film-maker Alan Root and Big Cat specialist Jonathan Scott. Winner of numerous international awards, most recently, in 2016 two of his works were shortlisted for “the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of The Year” Prize at the Mall Gallery in London.

Buffalo Sculpture and Painting – Mike Ghaui

Born and brought up on a farm in Southern Tanzania, Mike Ghaui has spent his life painting and sculpting the rich diversity of wildlife to be found in East Africa. He has been represented in the United States of America since 1980 by Alfred F. King III's 'King Gallery' in New York, and more recently by the Naturalism Department of the 'Gerald Peters Gallery' in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Ghaui has shown work at themed exhibitions at the 'Tryon & Moorland Gallery' in London, Pangolin Gallery (UK), the 'Everard Read Gallery' (South Africa), and at the 'Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum (USA).
His work, as well as being collected privately the world over, is also in the permanent collection of the 'Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum' (USA). His work has a striking vitality and he brings an authenticity to African Wildlife Art that only a long time love of Africa can.

David Chancellor is a multi award-winning documentary photographer based in South Africa. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, exhibited in major galleries and museums, and published worldwide. Named Nikon Photographer of the Year three times, he received a World Press Photo Award in 2010 for Elephant Story from the series Hunters. Chancellor won the Taylor Wessing National Portrait Prize in 2010, exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery London. In 2012 he received a Sony World Photography Award (Nature and Wildlife) and Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award. In 2013 he received the World Understanding Award in the Pictures of the Year International competition; the Kuala Lumpur International Photo Award for portraiture; the Vienna International Photo Award for documentary photography; and the Kontinent Award for documentary photography.
